August is women’s month so we’re taking the opportunity to mention an event that we’ve been involved in for a second consecutive year. Women in MICE was held in the last week of August at the fabulous La Toscana venue in Montecasino, Johannesburg.
It highlights the contribution of women to the Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Events (MICE) industry in South Africa. Hosted by Thami Nkadimeng, there were 40 women nominated in various categories for their contributions, and supported at the event by various individuals from the industry. Providing the entertainment during the event were the engaging crowd fromthe Drums & Rythm Band.
