JSE SheInvest Summit Encouraging Women Empowerment
On the 13th of August 2022, the JSE held their fifth annual SheInvest summit. This event focused on empowering women through financial literacy and education, and we couldn’t have been more honoured to assist them to create a beautiful event for the third year in a row.
The Event
The theme for this year’s summit was fearlessly owning the markets, and ultimately had one goal in mind: to empower women to confidently take control of their investment journeys. This year’s jam-packed line up included topics such as reaching financial independence; trading strategies to achieve your goals; and practical ways to own the market. Each of these topics were carefully curated to help women start, continue, or elevate their investment journeys.
Financial and investment keynote speakers included Leila Fourie, Mbali Nwoko, and Neruskha Bowan, to name a few. Attendees thoroughly enjoyed the thought-provoking presentations, but the panel discussion and Q&A slots are what really set this event apart.
Flock’s Involvement
We were thrilled to assist the JSE with the SheInvest summit for the third consecutive year. This year we assisted them with their mobile app, the virtual event, and for the first time we provided them with a ticket-payment feature that streamlined registrations. Looking at the virtual analytics, we can see that the event had a very favourable outcome.
